Is it rude to brag about your child or to tell the world how incredibly proud you are of them? Maybe it's not quite rude, but probably annoying. Prepare yourselves to be annoyed!
I am so proud of my daughter! Jacklyn's been taking singing lesson for about a year and a half and last night was her first recital. She was FANTASTIC! There were seven kids who sang and one guitar solo. Jacklyn was so scared to get up on the stage and sing that I thought she was going to either cry or pass out. When it was her turn to sing she couldn't hide her fear from the audience so they gave her a very generous pre-performance applause. She started the song off a little shaky, but sang it beautifully! All the kids who sang were in high school except for Jacklyn and one other girl who are both eleven. So many people told us how great they thought she was which I appreciate because it will help give her the confidence to continue. To me, there's nothing more frightening than getting up if front of a crowd and singing by yourself and my daughter did just that! I've listened to her performance so many times. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

She was amazing! Of course that's from the dad. I loved that she waved to her teacher and ran off stage. It was so "Jacklyn." She's shy, but so sweet and unpretentious. It was a very proud moment for me to see her finally address one of her biggest fears. I think Michelle passed out for her since she was so scared for her! :)
Grandma Price: I cried she is so amazing. All that from an eleven year old. She's a wonder!!!!
That is so awesome, Jackie! i am so proud of you. You look so beautiful and grown up!
Ok - this is exactly why I wanted you to blog! I would have never seen this! Jacklyn - you are amazing! You did such a fantastic job! Your voice is beautiful! What an honor to be 11 and be up there singing! LOVED IT!
I think that the parents are extra nervous for their children! You just want them to have a great experience and do well! So awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Okay, so I totally cried. She is so big! Its just strange. LOL. I hope the kids sing at the family reunion!
Oh my goodness! I can't believe how great she sounded, I was amazed that strong voice was coming from an 11 year old. She is a really talented singer-it makes me realize how UNtalented Spencer is in that area. She did a wonderful job, you should be proud and if I were you I would be bragging, plus it's not annoying if what your saying is true! Great job Jacky!
Love, Shana
